About Victor Sheverda
Victor Sheverda is a Construction Project Manager based in the Greater Denver Area, specializing in managing a diverse range of commercial projects from pre-construction through closeout. Sheverda not only earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management but also achieved his Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification — a prestigious, globally recognized credential that demonstrates a construction manager’s ability to lead projects in a structured, repeatable manner, essential for meeting deadlines and staying within budget. Victor is passionate about projects under his direction and is recognized for blending his extensive field experience with formal project management principles to drive successful outcomes and client satisfaction.
Victor’s early experiences, working for his family’s business, a company specializing in custom spec residential homes, likely inspired him to pursue a career in construction. The company, SVA Corporation, utilizes Insulated Concrete Form (ICF) technology to construct sustainable, energy-efficient structures. Victor’s commitment to sustainability, reflected in his career, where he advocates for sustainable construction practices, is a source of inspiration. ICF homes are also more durable and fire-resistant, and they have the added benefit of being resistant to damage from natural disasters, pests, and rot.
Victor credits his hard work and self-motivation for advancing from summer internships on notable construction projects to launching his career in commercial construction with Kiewit Building Group. He later progressed to an Assistant Project Manager role at a leading commercial general construction company in Colorado. As a Commercial Construction Project Manager in the Denver Metro Area, Vik specializes in managing subcontractor relationships owner relationships, and driving value among all stakeholders.
As a Professional Project Manager, he is trained to apply standardized methodologies, risk mitigation strategies, and process improvements across construction initiatives. These skills are essential for high-end or complex projects that frequently encounter numerous challenges, including labor and material procurement, cost overruns, and project timeline disruptions. Vik is also certified in Agile project methodology, which emphasizes breaking projects into manageable units or sprints, allowing for adjustments and incorporating customer feedback throughout the process.
